The Program & What It Can Do For You
Any deviation from our natural balanced and homeostatic state will produce signs and symptoms. Whenever a particular organ's function is going either too fast or too slow, there are symptoms.

Most of us are not aware of these symptoms for quite a few reasons: We are told that these symptoms are normal, that they come with age, and that we should just learn to live with them. We are educated that as we age it is natural to experience common symptoms, which are often overlooked as precursors to larger health problems if they are not addressed. The health system of today is based on sick care not health care. Pharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals are being used to treat and relieve common symptoms with out taking a closer look at the cause of the problem.

With the 24-Hour Urinalysis you can predict what lies ahead. Enzyme deficiencies lead to deviations in the normal physiology characterized by inflammatory conditions. If left untreated, these conditions may lead to diseases.

The 24-hour Urinalysis According to Loomis:
The Loomis test reveals what the client has trouble digesting, absorbing or assimilating, such as protein, sugars or fats. This is a nutritional test except for the chemstick (which is routinely done in medical offices). Our chemstick test rules out common diseases such as diabetes, hepatitis, infections, and kidney problems and is used to screen for pathologies for referral to medical care. The nutritional part of the test reveals digestive problems (enzyme deficiencies), nutritional deficiencies, such as calcium, vitamin C and electrolytes, degree of colon toxicity and the allergy pattern. With this test you can predict health trends because they show up nutritionally in the urine before disease shows up in the blood. Whatever you can predict, you can prevent!

Becoming a Client
Completing a 24-hour Urinalysis, and filling out a Health History of signs and indications of food intolerances (poor digestion), enzyme and nutritional deficiencies, plus a complete diet survey, is your first step into the program. Those who visit to my office in person will be able to go thru a Homeostatic Challenge test, which includes a Palpatory Test to determine enzyme and nutritional deficiencies as well.
(SEE FEE SCHEDULE)

Health History:
Includes a diet survey plus a questionnaire that reveals enzyme and nutritional deficiencies that may have not surfaced from the urine test. Using the Loomis 24-hour Urinalysis, the health history and enzyme deficiency questionnaire plus an interview with you, gives me adequate information to determine an enzyme nutrition program. My goal is to prioritize your most immediate enzyme and nutritional needs.

Homeostatic Digestive Challenge Test:
Findings from a fasting exam are compared to an exam done about 45 minutes after eating. The findings, is used in conjunction with the 24-hour Urinalysis pinpoints the true cause to your digestive symptoms and improve the benefits derived from your diet. In order for enzyme supplements to be helpful they must be specific to the individual. By palpating or "feeling", your abdomen before and after a meal, I will be able to determine what happens to your organs when they are presented with food.

Palpation Test:
Reveals Enzyme Deficiencies And Structural Problems Palpation means "to get information from touching." When I touch (palpate) a person and I feel a muscle contraction, they may tell me it is tender or hurts. This reveals information, depending upon where the pain is. There are many palpation points, which can reveal digestive problems, enzyme, or nutritional deficiencies. Palpation can also reveal structural problems requiring some kind of physical therapy such as Therapeutic Massage, Positional Dural Release Therapy (PDR-T), Therapeutic Exercise, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and others.

Conclusion:
When all of these tests are done, I evaluate them and determine which enzymes are best for you after my interview with you. My main effort is to prioritize your most immediate enzyme and nutrient deficiency needs.
